A push-button switch controls the VOT-8 Voltmeter Kitand can operate in either a two-wire or three-wire configuration. (The wiring is configured for two-wire mode upon delivery.)

Assembly Steps

1. Solder the 10 resistors (3 on the front, and 7 on the back inside the red frame).
2. Solder the capacitors, diodes, and potentiometer.
3. Solder the push-button switch (make sure to orient it correctly).
4. Install the IC socket from the back of the board and solder it from the front.
   • Trim any excess pins from the IC socket to prevent interference with the LED display.
5. Install the LED display.
6. Install the microcontroller and copper standoffs (pay attention to the microcontrollers orientation).
