M5stack Extension Port Module for Core2
Shopping information
Description
The M5Stack Core2 extension module is a stacking expansion board designed for M5Stack Core2 systems that need more Grove interfaces. ExtPort For Core2 converts the Core2 expansion side into four Grove ports, providing PortB, PortC, PortD, and PortE for multi-sensor and multi-actuator projects.
This Grove expansion module supports configurable PortD and PortE GPIO routing through internal DIP switches, making it useful for prototyping, DIY hardware expansion, and projects that need flexible Core2 interface access.
Official notes: The front of ExtPort For Core2 includes a collaborator signature. Before use, make sure the corresponding DIP switches are set to ON; the “1” position is ON by default, and only one position in each DIP switch should be ON to avoid device damage. If the Core2 bottom cover is used, cut off the four support legs of the PROTO module to avoid cover interference and prepare M3 screws of a suitable length for fixing.

FAQ
What does this module add to Core2?
It adds four Grove ports to Core2, making it easier to connect multiple sensors, actuators, or prototyping modules.
Can PortD and PortE use different pins?
Yes. PortD and PortE can be routed to different GPIOs through the onboard DIP switches, but only one position in each DIP switch should be ON.
Do I need to modify the bottom cover?
If the Core2 bottom cover is used together with this module, the official note says to cut off the four support legs of the PROTO module and use suitable M3 screws for fixing.
