Hellermann Tyton Red Pre-Insulated Ring Terminal M5: Reliable Connections for 0.51.5 mm Cable

Engineered for Secure, Vibration-Resistant Terminations

The Hellermann Tyton Pre-Insulated Terminal Red Ring Lug M5 Hole delivers professional-grade electrical connections in demanding environments. Designed for conductors from 0.5 to 1.5 mm, this terminal features a double grip crimp that provides exceptional mechanical strength and electrical conductivity, even under constant vibration. The colour-coded red vinyl insulation enables instant size identification, reducing installation errors and speeding up assembly.

Unlike generic terminals that may loosen over time, the three-piece manufacturing process integrates the insulation, barrel, and ring tongue into a single robust unit. This construction ensures consistent crimp quality and long-term reliability in automotive, marine, and industrial control applications.

Key Features

• Double grip crimp design secures both conductor and insulation for superior vibration resistance
• Pre-insulated with red vinyl for quick visual identification of 0.51.5 mm wire range
• Three-piece construction enhances durability and prevents insulation pull-out
• Rated to 600 V and 19 A for versatile low-voltage applications
• Operating temperature up to +75 C suitable for engine bays and enclosed panels
• M5 stud hole (5.3 mm) fits common metric fasteners
• RoHS compliant copper body with PVC insulation

Why Double Grip Matters

In high-vibration settings such as vehicle wiring looms, generator sets, or machinery, standard single-crimp terminals can fatigue and fail. The double grip system crimps both the wire strands and the insulation, creating a strain relief that absorbs movement and prevents conductor breakage at the crimp point. This reduces the risk of intermittent faults and costly downtime.

Applications

Ideal for automotive wiring, marine electronics, control panels, and industrial equipment where reliable M5 earth or power connections are required. Use with Hellermann Tyton HYYT7 crimp tool for optimal results.
