M5Stack Chain Joystick (STM32G031)
Shopping information
Description
Chain Joystick is a high-precision Hall effect joystick input node in the M5Stack Chain series. It provides three-axis control input, combining analog X/Y-axis movement with digital Z-axis key input for compact interactive control systems.
Chain Joystick uses non-contact Hall effect sensing to detect magnetic field changes, giving the joystick wear resistance, high accuracy, strong anti-interference capability and long service life. The integrated STM32G031G8U6 controller, programmable RGB LED and UART serial cascading protocol make Chain Joystick suitable for robot control, human-machine interaction and Chain-series expansion projects.
Features
- Hall effect joystick: Chain Joystick uses non-contact magnetic sensing for precise input and durable operation.
- Three-axis input: X/Y axes provide analog joystick movement, while the Z axis provides digital key input.
- STM32G031G8U6 controller: the integrated MCU handles joystick signals, RGB output and UART Chain communication.
- Programmable RGB LED: one WS2812C LED gives Chain Joystick visual status indication and interactive feedback.
- UART cascading protocol: Chain Joystick communicates through UART at 115200bps@8N1 for Chain-series expansion.
- Dual HY2.0-4P connectors: two expansion interfaces help connect Chain Joystick with Chain Bridge, Chain DualKey and other Chain devices.
- Compact input node: the 23.9 x 23.9 x 30.4mm body fits robot controls, handheld interfaces and desktop control panels.
